To learn about the effects of a participant support community on illness perception, emotional well-being, and feelings of isolation among participants with NECC.
Detailed description
Primary Objective 1\. To assess the impact of a participant support community on illness perception, emotional wellbeing and feelings of isolation among participants diagnosed with NECC. Secondary Objectives 1. To understand how peer support affects communication with healthcare providers. 2. To explore how the support group affects coping strategies. 3. To evaluate the perceived value and acceptability of the support group structure and delivery. 4. To identify unmet needs and challenges experienced by participants with NECC.
