About this directory
Every clinical trial registered with the U.S. National Library of Medicine through ClinicalTrials.gov is made public. This site is a fast, searchable mirror of that dataset — every trial, every phase, every sponsor, every recruiting study.
What's the data?
ClinicalTrials.gov holds ~581,000 studies submitted by sponsors since 2000. Each study lists its status, phase, eligibility, interventions, sponsor, and study locations. Federal law (FDAAA 801) requires most interventional drug, biologic, and device trials conducted in the United States — and many internationally — to register here and post results.
Trial statuses
- Recruiting — actively enrolling participants.
- Not yet recruiting — registered but not open for enrollment.
- Active, not recruiting — ongoing study with enrollment closed.
- Completed — study has finished.
- Terminated / Suspended / Withdrawn — stopped before completion.
Data source
All records sourced from the ClinicalTrials.gov API v2. Refreshed weekly. The date each trial was last posted is shown on the individual trial page.
Not medical advice
This directory is a research index, not a recommendation to enroll in any study. Talk to your healthcare provider before participating in a clinical trial. Inclusion of a trial here is not an endorsement.
