Summary
The goal of this observational study is to describe the demographic, epidemiological, clinical, and outcome characteristics of patients with gastric cancer. It also aims to analyze the diagnostic approaches and management strategies used in the care of these patients in Algeria.
Detailed description
This is a non-interventional, observational, descriptive, cross-sectional clinical study with both prospective and retrospective data collection. It aims to describe the demographic, epidemiological, clinical, and outcome characteristics of approximately 1,000 patients with histologically confirmed gastric cancer in Algeria, and to analyze diagnostic and treatment practices. Data will be collected from medical records and brief patient interviews (≈30 minutes). All information will be anonymized and used exclusively for research purposes.
