Detailed description
Studies have shown that lidocaine can reduce opioid consumption by 20-50% in the perioperative period. Studies have shown that lidocaine can reduce opioid consumption by 20-50% in the perioperative period. By reducing opioid consumption, lidocaine can also decrease the incidence of opioid-related side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, and respiratory depression. Lidocaine's analgesic effects can improve patient satisfaction and reduce anxiety related to pain
