Summary

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of 12 weeks wrestling training on the physical and motor performance parameters of wrestlers in athlete training centers. The effect of 12 weeks of intensive training was investigated in 33 wrestlers aged 12-14 years in athlete training centers in Çorum province. Paired samples t-test was used in the statistical procedures.

OTHERExperimental Group (12-Week Wrestling Training)The intervention consists of a structured 12-week intensive wrestling training program designed specifically for male wrestlers aged 12-14 years. This program was conducted at athlete training centers equipped with international standard facilities, and led by professional coaches. The training included 5 sessions per week, each lasting approximately 80 minutes, with a total weekly duration of 400 minutes. Each session consisted of 20 minutes of gymnastic warm-up, 50 minutes of basic technical and strength exercises (e.g., squats, push-ups, deadlifts), and 10 minutes of stretching.
