The clinical presentation of rickettsiosis is variable and atypical that laboratory confirmation is necessary. This project is aimed to set up the laboratory to diagnose rickettsial and rickettsial like disease, which could help in develop rapid diagnostic kits, epidemiologic surveillance and prognostic factor.
