| DRUG | gentamicin | Daily gentamicin (5 mg/kg intravenously, then placebo doses IV after 8 and 16 hours). Eight hour gentamicin (2 mg/kg intravenously, then 1.5 mg/kg IV after 8 and 16 hours). |
